Midsummer Night

Midsummer – a celebration of the flourishing vegetation, was given special significance. On June 22nd, when the sun reaches the highest point in its annual journey, we invite you to the Midsummer celebration in Klaipėda, at Jonas Hill. You will experience the secrets and magic of herbs, wreath weaving.

At the foot of Jonas Hill, there will be a green market and an ethno-games. We will dance and sing with the SADŪNAI band (from Zarasai) and folklore ensembles KUPOLĖ, SERBENTĖLĖ (from Kaunas), ALKA, KURŠIŲ AINIAI, and SENOLIAI. The URAGANIAUS AND AIROS duet will immerse you in the flow of ancient songs and electronic music sounds.

In the light of the bonfire, SAULIUS PETREIKIS and his group (from Vilnius) will invite you to a place "Where the Suns Converge."

The event starts at 19:30.
The market will be open from 14:00.
